Formed by the brothers Lugui and Pedrão, Cat Dealers consolidates among the three biggest DJs/Producers of Brazil and represents today one of the biggest names in the international electronic scene. In 2021, for the fifth consecutive year, the duo entered the Top 100 of the world’s biggest DJs by British magazine DJ Mag. They debuted on the list in 2017, just a year after the project started. In 2018, Cat Dealers got in Forbes 30 Under 30, which highlights promising young Brazilians in many areas, including music. In 2020, Cat Dealers signed to Armada Music, renowned Dutch label co-founded by DJ and Producer Armin Van Buuren and today it is responsible for the duo’s releases. Internationally, the brothers have already played in all five continents and in more than 15 countries. With these tours, Cat Dealers has played at major festivals such as EDC Orlando, in the United States, Nameless Music Festival, in Italy, S2O, in Thailand, and DreamBeach and Medusa Festival, both in Spain. The brothers began 2020 with the announcement that they’d play on the mainstage at Tomorrowland Belgium, which had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 situation.
They were then invited to participate in the festival’s digital edition, Tomorrowland Around The World, which happened in July 2020. In addition, they were also one of the attractions of the online festival of EDC Orlando, where they played a set directly from Tulum, Mexico. As for 2021, the duo was resident on Insomniac TV, where they presented an exclusive set every week, for over two months, created with the same 3D technology used by Tomorrowland Around The World.
